Ta Tarbut is a cultural center in the art district of southern Tel Aviv (Kiryat Hamelacha). 

The center is designed as an extension of the district, meant to provide solutions for independent artists in the area that are looking for a space to conduct meetings, group events, and exhibition opportunities.

In order to accent the space’s unique architecture, we divided the main space using white metal grid dividers. The pattern allowed for the separation of the areas while preserving light and air flow.

In addition, the dividers act as a base to hang and examine the artists’ artwork when meeting with curators before exhibitions.  

Custom carpentry acts as a seating base, allowing for maximum seating options to fit any given person or group that comes in.
